CFTA – Czech Film and Television Academy Representative body of Czech film and television professionals Since 1995, as appointed by the Czech Ministry of Culture, CFTA elects a Czech contestant for AMPAS® Awards and presents the Czech annual film awards Czech Lion. CFTA is the only subject in Czech Republic appointed to select feature films for different festivals and screenings where organizers demand such selection.
